With the changing of seasons, it is an opportunity to consider what ‘season’ we might find ourselves in, in a spiritual sense: the promise of new growth in Spring, the warmth of the Sun in Summer, the beginning of change in Autumn, a time of stillness in Winter. The end of the month and we also have a priestly Ordination at our Cathedral in Shrewsbury this coming Friday evening. The diocesan Lourdes pilgrimage takes place at It’s an in-house publication by a church, for a church. What Is a Church Newsletter A church newsletter is quite simple. In fact, it’s keeping stride with them as church newsletters take on an electronic format and whirl through cyberspace. ![]() With the Summer getting into full swing, we have a number of weddings over the next few weeks, Summer being a popular time for couples to celebrate their weddings. It’s the church newsletter, and shows no sign of giving way to the high-tech pressures of today. Each newsletter generally covers the official acts, attendance, report of contributions, member birthdays, our acolyte schedule as well as any events and local resources that are available. Please pray for our High School and the Headteacher, Mrs Vile, Mr Coucill, Chair of Governors, and all the staff and pupils. John Evangelical Lutheran Church newsletters are a great way to stay in touch with whats happening in our church and school. The school has many events for pupils past and present and a special celebration Mass, too. This year is a special anniversary year for Ellesmere Port Catholic High School as they mark their Golden Jubilee. With the month of July beginning, our five parish schools will be in the last busy weeks of term, looking forward to their long Summer break as the school year draws to a close by mid-July. ![]()
